Alegria Grande is the big brother of Alegria. Its a 10ply/Worsted/Aran weight yarn with a blend of a blend of 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Polyamide. It is a fantastic yarn for blankets, thicker socks as well as garments and accessories. 

Alegría is a 4ply/fingering weight yarn, with a blend of 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Polyamide. It is perfect for so many different projects from socks to shawls as well as being ideal for baby knits as it is able to be washed in the machine on a gentle cycle.

This sock pattern provides simplified instructions regarding cast-on and a basic boomerang heel and is perfect for your first sock!
