Description

In this three-session knit along, you will work with Jake to design and make your own Knit the City project. You will learn key techniques needed for colourwork, assembly and crochet borders, and receive guidance on organising colours and designing your own unique blocks and layout. Each participant can select their own city and project from the book and work at their own pace. Works-in-progress are very welcome.

Experience with knitting is recommended.

What's included:  

4-colour yarn pack of 4-ply Avalon 

1.5 hours x 3 sessions with Jake
Week 1: Saturday, 6 June 1:00 - 2:30pm
Week 2: Saturday, 20 June 1:00 - 2:30pm
Week 3: Saturday, 4 July 1:00 - 2:30pm

 

What to bring: 

• a copy of Knit the City book (Available in store in May)
• 2.75-3.25mm needles, straight or circular
• a crochet hook matching the size of the needles
• spare DPNs, one size smaller than the needles
• needle stoppers or a stitch-holder for any unfinished blocks
• measuring tape
• yarn needle
• scissors
• pen and paper

3 x 1.5hr sessions - alternate weekends
