Over two hours we will look at:
The basics of reading a knitting pattern through understanding standard abbreviations as well as compound abbreviations found in brioche and cables.
Different styles of pattern writing and determining if you match the skill level in one.
How to substitute yarns- finding yarn information, matching fibre characteristics and calculating the meterage needed for a project.
Clarifying common terminology such as M1, M1R and M1L
