You'll explore how this method produces a thicker, softer, and spongier fabric that resembles knitting but works up with the ease of crochet.
With this course you'll learn the basics of tunisian crochet, focusing on four fundamental stitches (simple stitch, knit stitch, purl stitch and full stitch) that can then be used to make a series of coasters.
Kit includes:
• 6.50mm tunisian crochet hook and 60cm cable
• 3 balls of cotton yarn
• Class notes and coaster patterns
Students need to bring:
• 5mm standard crochet hook (optional - also 2.5mm and 7mm)
• Scissors
• Stitch markers
• Tapestry, darning or finishing needle
