Description

This very special 3 part class is an in-depth guided experience. Students will work step-by-step on the Quartet Tank Top with the designer herself- Lily Creaties.  It will be taught with the beginner friendly lacey border option (shown in red). As a customisation bonus, the pattern also includes 3 more border options for future makes.

Learn As You Loop is perfect for crocheters who want to learn how to get the perfect fit or those who haven't yet jumped into the world of garment making.

You will learn:
• to gauge swatch
• customise the fit of your garment through shaping 
• a stretchy stitch combination that resembles knitting
• how to work vertically on a stretchy top with negative ease
• how to create secure armhole and neckline borders


What's included:  

Quartet Tank Top Pattern

1 x ball of 8ply Morris Avalon - this is for gauge swatching. Students will choose and purchase the project yarn after the first class where the gauge swatch will assist to determine the size. 

6 hours of teaching time

10% discount card - this can be used to purchase project materials

What to bring:

• 4mm crochet hook 

• 2-3 Locking Stitch Markers

• a small pair of scissors

• pen or pencil

Optional - 3.5mm and 4.5mm hooks to play around with tension

About Your Teacher:

Lily is a Belgian crochet garment designer who specialises in modern, textured crochet garments with an elegant and timeless feel. Known for her unique approach to design, Lily focuses on vertical garment construction using a single colour allowing the intricate, rich textures of her pieces to take the centre stage.

Skill Level

This workshop is suitable for advanced beginners, you should be able to distinguish a stitch and its loops. Student do not need to have prior garment making experience.
