Description

The Wednesday Sweater is a top-down knit with classic shaping and a modern, oversized turtleneck. It begins with the back, worked flat and shaped with short rows to create a comfortable shoulder slope. Each shoulder is then worked separately and joined to form the front yoke. The front and back are connected at the underarms, and the body is knit in the round. Sleeves are picked up and worked in the round using your preferred method—Magic Loop, double-pointed, or a small circular needle. The sweater is finished with a generous turtleneck and neat twisted rib edges. Be sure to knit a swatch first to check gauge and ensure a good fit.

Size Guide

The Wednesday Sweater is designed to have approx. 25 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be 25 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement. The fit is oversized.

Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size to knit. For example, if you measure 90 cm around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 115 cm which in the given example would give you 25 cm of positive ease.
