The Poppy Tee is a top-down knit with thoughtful construction and clean finishing. It begins with the upper back yoke, shaped with increases and worked flat. Stitches are then picked up for each shoulder along the slanted edges of the back yoke and worked separately. The yoke is then joined and worked across the front and back—first flat, then in the round. The body and sleeves are worked in the round, with sleeves finished using either double-pointed needles or the Magic Loop technique. A folded neckline with integrated double knitting gives a smooth, structured edge. Be sure to knit, wash, and block a swatch before starting, as the recommended yarn may grow with washing—accurate gauge is essential for the right fit.
Size guide
The Poppy Tee is designed to have approx. 5 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 5 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement.
Please note that these measurements are only achieved if the correct gauge is obtained. Measure yourself before beginning your project, to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around your bust (or around the widest part of your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 96 cm which in the given example would give you 6 cm of positive ease.
