Description

The Elisabeth Blouse is a top-down design with refined construction and elegant finishing details. It begins with a collar worked in stockinette on both sides for a clean, polished edge. The yoke is shaped with raglan increases and constructed in stages, first worked flat, then joined in the round after establishing the double-knit front edges. Short rows help shape the neckline for a comfortable fit, and the blouse is finished with an Italian bind-off for a smooth, professional look. Techniques include Judy’s Magic Cast On, German Short Rows, and double knitting, making this an engaging project for knitters ready to explore modern construction.

Size guide

The Elisabeth Blouse is designed to have approx. 6 cm of positive ease, meaning it is designed to be approx. 6 cm larger in circumference than your bust measurement.

Note that these measurements are only achieved if the design is knitted in the correct gauge. Before beginning your project, measure yourself to determine which size will fit you the best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around your bust (or around the widest part on your upper body) you should knit a size S. A size S sweater has a bust circumference of 96 cm which in the given example would give you 6 cm of positive ease
