Homecoming Honeycombs is a top-down beanie knitting pattern featuring a bold slipped-stitch honeycomb texture and a customisable length for a perfect fit at any age. 24 sts and 43 rounds to 10 cm (4") measured in honeycomb
stitch on larger needles after blocking.
The pattern recommends the following needles and notions:
4 mm (US 6) or size needed to obtain gauge DPNs or circular needles for preferred method of working small circumferences.
3.75 mm (US 5) or one size smaller than main needle DPNs or circular needles for preferred method of working small circumferences.
2 stitch markers for size 7, 1 stitch marker for all other sizes.
The needles below are 40cm circular needles and double pointed needles. Alternatively, you can use a long circular needle for the Magic Loop technique.
