Careers - New Warehouse Junior role (17 y/o)
Full time preferred or 3 to 4 days a week if studying
We currently require a couple of juniors to help with all our warehouse activities. No experience is required but you must have a strong desire to learn and possess the following:
- Bright happy personality, can work well alone or in small teams
- Hard working, a good work ethic with attention to detail
- Computer skills- Excel, word, good at learning new programs
- Punctual, reliable, honest
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong English skills, written and spoken
- Good at taking instruction
Morris and Sons is a growing retail/wholesale needlecraft, quilting and knitting brand with retail stores in NSW and VIC with a new online processing facility at our Mascot warehouse. We are looking for 2 bright hardworking juniors to help our warehouse team in various warehouse and online processing activities. You will start with the basic duties and as you progress will slowly increase your responsibilities.
Some duties may include:
- Cleaning and keeping the place tidy making sure it’s always organised with stock in the right place
- Stocktakes-Helping our team count and update stock quantities
- Stock consolidations-Combine stock to maximise space for new stock
- Assisting our warehouse manager and team
- Help pick and pack online orders
- Answering phone and email inquiries
- Hand twist skeins ready to send to store
- Prepare packaging ready for new orders
