If you’re interested in knowing how to give your garments a professional finish, then this is the class for you. Learn different methods of cast ons, cast offs, and ways to pick up stitches. Delve into the intricacies of sewing your garment together, blocking and attaching fastenings, all to give your garment that perfect finish. Suitable for competent knitters or those who have completed our Stage 2 class.

TO BRING WITH YOU:
- 3 x 4.00mm knitting needles (20cm or longer).
- 1 crochet hook size between 3.50mm - 5.00mm.
- 2 wool needles for sewing (1 blunt, 1 sharp).
- 1 ball of 8ply yarn in contrasting colour to that of the samples.
- 1 ball of 8ply yarn in same colour as the samples.
- Notepad & pen
- Tape measure
- Large pins or safety pins for tacking seams.
- Samples as per below (6 samples total).
FINISHED SAMPLES :
Cast on 20 stitches. Work in stocking stitch until sample measures 5cm. Cast off. (Make 2 samples)
Cast on 20 stitches. Work in garter stitch until sample measures 5cm. Cast off. (Make 2 samples)
UNFINISHED STOCKING STITCH SAMPLE:
Cast on 20 stitches. Work in stocking stitch until sample measures 5cm and transfer to stitch holder (Do Not Cast Off) Make 2 samples.

CLASS MINIMUMS: Minimum class size is 5 students. If your class is cancelled, we will contact you and issue a full refund. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible to reserve your spot and ensure minimum enrolment. Bring a friend!
CANCELLATIONS: You may cancel up to 7 days before your first class for a full refund. If you cancel later, we cannot issue a refund unless we are able to fill your spot from a waiting list. If you're unable to cancel in time for a refund, you can always send a friend in your place. If we must cancel a class, we will issue a full refund.
ON THE DAY OF YOUR CLASS: Please report 10 minutes before the scheduled start time to the Morris and Sons Knitting Department, 50 York Street, Sydney. Please note that Morris and Sons cannot take responsibility for your personal belongings while you are on our premises: while our classes are friendly and generally problem-free, we advise you to be aware of the location and security of your belongings at all times. We use Auspost for all deliveries. Please check your tracking to follow your order after it leaves our warehouse.
Auspost generally take 1 to 6 days for to deliver.
All international orders will be quoted for delivery charges on an individual basis before your order is shipped. Estimated delivery time: 3 to 10 working days. Changes to shipping prices. Sometimes there will be discrepancies on the quoted shipping costs. This may happen if the item or items are documents and can be sent within Australia using the standard delivery service
Bulky items (such as tapestry floor frames and framed pieces) will still be quoted on an individual basis via email. Please contact us

Returns can only be processed when accompanied by the store docket/receipt. In the case of defective items, we will be happy to replace it or refund the purchase price. We do not refund if you simply change your mind, purchase the wrong item, or purchase too many items (please see the Office of Fair Trading website)
