Inspired by the colours of Gaudi and fiesta times, Barcelona is a modern take on a traditional granny square design. The simple stitch pattern used makes for an almost meditative project. This blanket has been designed as a snuggle blanket for the sofa or over the knees on chilly evenings but would equally be at home in a child's room or even made larger with more rounds in the same pattern for a double bed spread.
This pattern is available as a kit here.
